Black Rose Theatre Presents “Annie”

Brandon, MS - Black Rose Theatre presents the children’s musical Annie. “Annie” is a spunky Depression-era orphan determined to find her parents, who abandoned her years ago on the doorstep of a New York City Orphanage run by the cruel, embittered Miss Hannigan. In adventure after fun-filled adventure, Annie foils Miss Hannigan’s evil machinations, befriends President Franklin Delano Roosevelt and finds a new family and home in billionaire Oliver Warbucks, his personal secretary Grace Farrell and a lovable mutt named Sandy.

Show times for Annie are February 25-27 and March 4-6 2010 @ 7:30 PM Feb 28 and Mar 7 @ 2:00 PM. Seating is limited, so be sure to make reservations in advance by calling 601-825-1293. Ticket prices are $12 for adults and $10 for students and seniors. We accept cash or check only.

Come enjoy “Family Days” at Black Rose Theatre - tickets are $10 for adults $8 for students and seniors and $5 for children 12 and under for all Sunday matinee productions.

With the very cold weather and possibility of snow storms, Rankin Kounty Kids wanted to make sure you were in the know of public school closings in our area.

Rankin County School District has a notice on their website that will inform you if your school will be closing because of snow or sleet type weather.
